Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and singer (born in NYC on 22 November 1984) - Her versatility as an actress has brought her much acclaim for her work in dramas from the past to suspenseful films and adventure. Johansson grew up in New York City as the daughter of an architect, and also an executive from a production firm. Hunter is the sister of Johansson was born in the City of New York. When she was just seven year old, she started casting for commercials on television. To enhance her skills, she attended the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan as well as the Professional Children's School. When she was eight, she appeared alongside Ethan Hawke in the Off-Broadway production Sophistry and, at the age of nine she made her first film appearance in Rob Reiner's North (1994). Johansson appeared next on screen in Just Cause (1996), but it was Manny & Lo 1996 that gave her her breakthrough. The movie is about two orphaned girls who are running away. Then, she was awarded high praise from critics for her performance as an teen girl who been injured and left her with a blemish on screen in The Horse Whisperer (1998). She gained more attention in Ghost World (2002) as the self-deprecating outcast Rebecca. Renee Felice Smith began her path into the world of entertainment in the early years of her life. Smith was drawn to acting as a young child. Smith's parents supported her in getting her first role in the acting world in the age of six. She was a part of a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. Like many other actresses starting out, she chose to refine her skills in the field of theater. In addition, she worked on other productions across the USA, while Wildflower was her first onstage show. She was a student at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
